Blue Demon EWLa-1 is a tungsten electrode containing 1.3-1.5% of dispersed lanthanum oxide for: enhanced arc starting and stability, reduced tip erosion rate, and extended operating current range.
- Can be used as nonradioactive substitutes for 2% thoriated tungsten as the operating characteristics are very similar
- Used for both DC and AC applications
