Miller Classic Series Variable Shade 8-12 Auto Darkening Helmet in the Metal Matrix graphic - 288519 is a great economical option for the value-minded welder. This helmet does not require charging with the Miller battery/solar-assist lens technology. Lightweight and comfortable helmet ideal for light-duty applications. Viewing area 5.15 sq. in. with 2 sensors and weight of about 16 oz.

ClearLight Technology

The new lens technology optimizes contrast and clarity in welding and light states. 1/1/1/2 optical clarity rating. Compared to traditional ADF's and Miller's previous technology it is a drastic improvement in clarity. Less green of a tint for a true view of the weld and work area.

Digital Controls

Simple to use large buttons make adjustments simple. Big upgrade from the analog controls. This feature and interface is very similar to higher end welding helmets.
