Welding Repairs: Damaged Threaded Holes

Tools on a table

A few days ago I dropped my MP3 player in a sink full of water (serves me right trying to do dishes and dance at the same time, but let’s not get sidetracked). Since I’m electronically savvy, I was able to repair the player before any serious damage took place.

Just like I was able to use my skills to repair my MP3 player, welders should be able to use their skills to fix minor and major problems. Welding Repairs is a new series we’re bringing you that will feature tips, tricks, and tutorials on how to repair minor, major, and incredibly unique welding problems. Feel free to leave us a comment if you have any welding problems you would like to see tackled in this series.

I found this video from WeldingTipsandTricks.com on YouTube:

Do you have any tips or suggestions that are different from the video? Leave us a comment!
