Check out the truckload of welding events on November’s plate.

NOTE: We’ve done our best to alert you about FABTECH, which began Nov. 2nd and ends tomorrow on the 4th. So we hope you took notice of the date and made plans to be there long before November.

I didn’t include events that already took place or are no longer open for registration.

2010 Workshop on Friction Welding – Gosselies, Belgium

“Friction Welding (FW) is a class of solid-state welding process that generates heat through mechanical friction between two components with a relative velocity. A load, normal to the welding plane, is applied to plastically displace and join the materials.

Within the framework of Plan Marshall project BLISK, Techspace Aero & Cenaero are investing in this new technology. This seminar provides the opportunity to discover this innovative process and access its competitiveness. Friction welding is used with metals and thermoplastics in a wide variety of aviation and automotive applications, as well as in the pipeline industry” – Event Website
