Beginning with the ultimate event for the welding industry, Fabtech, November is full of expos, seminars, shows, and more for welders of all skill levels. 2010 Workshop on Friction Welding – Gosselies, Belgium
“Friction Welding (FW) is a class of solid-state welding process that generates heat through mechanical friction between two components with a relative velocity. A load, normal to the welding plane, is applied to plastically displace and join the materials.
