Air America Inc., Atlanta, has provided seven Leaf Weldstations to Lincoln Land
Community College (LLCC), Springfield, Ill., which offers welding operator and
welding specialist certifications. The units are used to eliminate weld smoke
and grinding dust from the welding training lab.

Harris Products Group facility in Mason, Ohio, has been named a 2012 finalist

Welding Industry
The
Lincoln Electric Co., Cleveland, has appointed Frank Armao as director of
aluminum welding technology. In this position, he provides leadership in
aluminum welding customer support and applications engineering insight. He collaborates
with the aluminum welding technology teams at the company’s headquarters and at
company subsidiary Indalco Alloys, a producer of aluminum wire products in
Ontario.
