Baker's Gas & Welding Supplies, Inc. was established in 1936 when Harold and Dodie Baker opened the first welding and gas supply store in downtown Detroit. Over time, Baker’s Gas has continued to expand and grow into industrial supplies and all welding gases. After finding success in the Detroit area, Baker's Gas expanded into additional areas throughout Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.
