Ready, Set, Weld with the New Lincoln Power MIG 260 Welder
Get ready to weld with the recently updated and improved Lincoln Power MIG 260 welder that will take your repair work, maintenance jobs, and light industrial fabrication to the next level. The Power MIG 260 combines a wide range of features and versatile settings with an intuitive, user-friendly interface that remembers your settings.
Here’s a look at how the Power MIG 260 can make a difference in your welding shop.
A Simple, Full Color Welding Machine Interface
Setting up your welding machine, updating the settings, or customizing your settings while welding is a breeze with the full color digital 7” graphic display screen. The numbers and illustrations are large and easy to distinguish in all shop settings.
Once you’ve selected the type of material you’re welding and its thickness, you can easily choose from suggested welding settings or swap in your own custom settings.
The full color display makes it easy to make sure you’ve made the right choices. If your voltage or wire feed are set outside of the optimal parameters, the number settings will turn red. As you adjust your settings into the ideal range, the numbers on the display will turn green.
Versatile MIG Welding
Weld at any voltage input, 208/230/460/575, with its universal input voltage. A simple diagram on the back of the machine also makes it easy to adjust your power settings as needed in a snap.
Whether you’re welding mild steel or aluminum, you can run the machine with the push-pull or spool gun settings. You can also swap out solid wire with fluxed core wire, adding shielding gas to the mix as needed.
An Easier Welder for Your Shop
While it’s heavy welding machine, the Power MIG 260 is sturdy and well designed. It includes a tilted tray for the gas cylinder that makes it simple to change out gas cylinders without strain or lifting.
The angled gun connection provides an improved feed, and Lincoln’s quick twist tips for consumables add to the simplicity of using this machine. A top storage container makes it convenient to access welding cables and additional tips. The user manual can be slipped in that compartment as well, providing tips for the optimal settings if you’re just getting started.
While the machine does not have "fan on demand” as a setting that turns off when you stop welding, it does turn on automatically when the weld arc is established. If your machine becomes overheated and shuts down, the fan will remain on.
