YouTube is a great welding video resource. Manufacturers upload many of their videos on their own YouTube channel. According to Marziah Karch on About.com:
A channel on YouTube is the home page for an account. It shows the account name, the account type, the public videos they’ve uploaded, and any user information they’ve entered. You can customize the background and color scheme of a channel along with controlling some of the information that appears on it. YouTube channels can also display favorite videos from other users, activity streams, comments, subscribers, and other social networking features.
Subscribing to these channels allows you to find out when new welding videos are being posted. This is an easy way to keep up with your favorite welding expert or manufacturer.
Finding the Right Channel
A quick, easy way to find the URL for a company youtube channel is by going to the company website and looking for (and clicking on) the YouTube icon.
