The new "Forged in Freedom" graphic is more than just a graphic. Its a bold and patriotic statement. This helmet was inspired by the raising of the flag at the battle of Iwo Jima. The "Carbon Edge" graphic draws on the sleek, high texture of carbon fiber. It also features fine patterns with angular lines, combined with depth across a grey scale. This makes the graphic assertive without being too busy. It keeps the visual interest while overcomplicating the shells surface.

What is ClearLight 4X Technology?

Miller's ClearLight 4X is highly advanced auto-darkening lens technology that drastically improves visual clarity, before, during, and after welding. ClearLight 4X delivers up to four times the clarity, compared to the traditional 1/1/1/1 clarity. It provides a greater range of color through the lens to help more natural viewing light while helmets are in the down position. All of this technology packed into one unit provides increased productivity and less rework. Continuous visibility between light and dark states helps eliminates the need to flip the helmet up and down, helping to prevent eye injury, and reducing neck strain/fatigue. All of this technology packed into one auto-darkening lens provides safety, comfort, and enhanced clarity.

Why This Matters: Benefits for Welders

  1. Improved Clarity, Accuracy & Productivity

When you can clearly see your wire, puddle, heat-affected zone, joint spacing. Even during the welding process, you make fewer errors and reduce the amount of rework. While also providing enhanced safety in your work environment.

      2. Brighter Natural Light = More Helmet Down

With the ClearLight 4X technology, the light in a non-darkened state is brighter than in older systems. The brighter natural light lets welders keep their hood down even while doing prep task (grinding, cleaning, inspection), rather than raising and lowering the hood repeatedly. This helps reduce eye strain and increased safety.

     3. Natural color/Contrast

Traditional lenses tend to push more of a blue/green shade during natural light. ClearLight 4X helps preserve more of the natural color around you. This advanced ADF allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds a clearer, brighter and more realistic view of your work. Still keeping in mind comfortable, safe and reliable helmet
