Discounted Miller Welders and Welding Supplies

Discounted Miller Welders and Welding Supplies

Miller’s welders are among the top selling products at Baker’s Gas and Welding, and during the month of October, you’ll have a chance to get additional discounts on Miller products in addition to some free Miller welding gear. During the entire month of October, Baker’s will be offering 5% off all Arc Armor Gear (including Helmets), a free beanie and hat with the purchase of any Miller machine, and a free Miller hat with the purchase of any Miller Welding Helmet. Here’s a look at some of the bestselling Miller welding products that are on sale at Baker’s that you don’t want to miss during the Miller promotion during the month of October.

Miller’s Heavy Duty

MIG/Stick Gloves

These top-selling gloves provide a comfortable premium top-grain cowhide palm that is both comfortable and thick enough to handle any sparks, spatter, or heat. The back is a breathable pig skin split grain that will be more durable for both impact and high temperatures. The flame resistant cotton fleece lining on these gloves is pretty thick, so be sure to choose a size that will give you enough room. As with any premium welding glove, Miller’s come with Kevlar thread that can resist the heat.

Miller’s Digital Elite Welding Helmet

Two of the most popular welding helmets on Baker’s Gas and Welding are Lincoln’s Viking and Miller’s Digital Elite. You really can’t go wrong with either helmet, since they both offer 4 arc sensors for improved safety and they provide a wide variety of shade options that even include a grinding mode. Whatever your project may be, either helmet provides the safety and versatility you need in a top of the line welding helmet.

The main difference that adds about $75 (when comparing both helmets on sale at Baker’s) to the Digital Elite is a setting called X-Mode for shades 8-13. According to Miller’s product information, “The X-Mode electromagnetically senses the arc, providing full protection for those instances when there is an arc present, but the sensors are obscured. X-Mode eliminates interference from sunlight and out-of-position welding angles, such as those found in pipe welding or in obstructed or hidden-cavity welds.”

If you read enough reviews of this helmet, you’ll know that some welders think X Mode is a valuable addition to the helmet, while others think of it more as a luxury.

Miller’s Multimatic 200 Welder

Baker’s may offer the deepest discount around for the Multimatic (over $600 off the retail price as of this writing) , which is an industry-leading multi-process welder. The Multimatic weighs only 29 pounds (13.2 kg) and can run on either 120 or 230 V. With the Multimatic 200 you can do a wide variety of fabrication and construction projects with MIG, TIG, or Stick welding processes.

The reviews as of this writing have been positive, with welders recommending it as a great welder for both taking to a job site and for working on small to medium sized projects at home.

Miller Arc Armor Welding Jackets

Welding safety is important no matter where you’re welding—whether in warm or cold climates. Miller offers both heavy duty leather welding jackets and light weight, flame resistant jackets. You can also pick up welding bibs that attach to your helmet and protect your neck and sleeves that you can wear in a warmer climate in order to provide more ventilation.
