What is the Rebel 205ic Capable of?
Whether you are a seasoned welder, weekend warrior, or just starting welding school, this machine will take your welds to the next level. We'll dive into more details specs below.
The Rebel 205ic can weld MIG, Flux-Core, Stick, DC TIG, and AC TIG. That's right, this machine can TIG weld aluminum making it a true multiprocess unit. It delivers best in class performance in each process. You can run it on both 120V and 230V allowing for unbeatable versatility, plus it can even run 6010 stick electrodes on 120V. All this comes in a unit that weighs only 49 lbs, so you won't need to stress about taking it from a shop to the work site.
If you're looking to perfect your TIG welds, this machine can get you there. It gives you full control over the arc for unmatched performance. You get LiftTIG and high frequency start, AC wave balance (60% -90%), AC frequency (25-400Hz), pulsed (DC) (1-500 pps) and amplitude offset- the next level in AC TIG adjustment. Pre/Post Flow is adjustable. Pre Flow: 0 to 25.5 seconds and Post Flow: 0.5 to 25.5 seconds. All this means you'll be provided a machine capable of producing those beautiful, colorful TIG welds.
For the newer and even career welders, the Rebel 205ic comes with sMIG or "Smart" MIG. A convenient feature that makes set up extremely simple. There is built-in-arc control that constantly monitors your weld and adapts to you for superior, repeatable welds that will truly blow your mind. It helps eliminate inconsistencies in the weld, so you can keep working and easily complete your projects.
