ABB Robotics Hosting Workshop

Chalkboard

A Laser Processing Workshop is being held April 27, 2011 from 9 am to 5:30 pm. The workshop, hosted by ABB Robotics, will be held at its North American headquarters and training center located in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

This workshop will prove very valuable to those who use laser technology. It will give both current and potential users hands on, in-depth information on application pitfalls, best practices in robotic lasers, key process hardware components, investment justification factors, and what to consider in order to determine if and how robotic laser technology will be able to help the specific operations of their company.

There will also be feature sessions that will take place during the workshop. These sessions will be hosted by technical experts from RoboVent, Precitec, Ipg Photonics, and Laser Mechanisms. This will be even more knowledge that will interest any welder who has an interest in robotic lasers.

This technology has emerged in many fabrication segments, such as those that deal with tubular parts, hot-stamp seals, traditional flat sheet cutting, and hydroform components. All of these areas will be covered during the workshop. There will also be equipment reviews, featuring presentations, live process demonstrations, and coverage of advanced tools in software that allow the ultimate in flexibility for robotic laser users. Every person who attends gets a reference kit that is filled with resources and workshop transcripts to keep at the end of the workshop.

All qualified personnel who work in manufacturing companies that are engaged in high precision metal fabrication that are interested in robotic lasers can register free of charge. For questions you can call 248-391-8400.
